TDU Dog of the Day - Sir "Sullivan" Rules at School
Sullivan the Great, a beautiful Merle Great Dane not only knows how to curl up for a good book - but how to put a smile on a lot of kids faces. Sulley (named after that fuzzy critter in Disney's Monsters, Inc.) spends a lot of his therapy dog time making a difference at school where he serves as a volunteer pet partner for TDU's "Tutors with a Tail" reading program. Sulley joins his volunteer handler Rebecca Schauffele in the Montessori classroom helping inspire kids to read. He's so good, in fact, Rebecca is penning a book about Sulley and his classroom exploits titled "Sullivan the Great and His Terrible Tail." For a paw-graphed photo of Sullivan, or for more information on Tutors with a Tail, give us a growl at (814) 456-DOGS or Pawmail Scoops.
